Audemars Piguet wristwatch, art deco

This late art deco Tank by Audemars Piguet from 1940 with long indexes and old font was manufactured in an impressive block of 18k yellowgold. Typical for the strong art deco style is the case with two horizontal, extremely wide sides. Another details that screams for that period is the high, angular crystal with it´s clear lines. The elegant watch has 36mm diameter (24mm X 29,5mm) and the engraved number on the case back is clearly visible. Inside is ticking a perfectly running, original AP signed handwinding movement that was freshly serviced.

The AP comes on a glossy, black crocodile strap.
