IWC 3506 Ingenieur SL

This reference is the midsize version of the Ingenieur SL that was designed by Gerald Genta, the “father” of the Royal Oak and Patek Philippe Nautilus. The large steel case, the bezel and the integrated bracelet with folding clasp; -there’s no doubt that these design characteristics came from the same man.

This 3506 Ingenieur by International Watch Co. or simply IWC is approx. from the mid 80s. The stylish grey ‘millimeter dial’ has a sporty look, the unpolished case with 34mm and bracelet are executed in stainless steel. All parts about the watch are the original ones. It´s dial and handset have warm patinated original Tritium only.

The IWC automatic caliber 3753 is running perfectly and has recently received a fresh service.

A rare gem that will fit wrists up to a circumference of 18cm.

Longines Calatrava 1940s

The big original dial with small second has a beautiful warm patina. This piece has some stylistic fondamentals like a simple font for the hours and the minimalistic blued-steel hands.

The “Calatrava” watches, introduced in 1932, were inspired by the Bauhaus principle. This is a great example of this period with well balanced design in every single aspect.

Dating to the 1940s this classic model measures 35 mm, which is unusual big for this decade and it has a lot of wrist presence. The stainless steel case is very fat and has sharp edges.

The manual wind caliber 12.68 movement is running strong and has been serviced recently.

This timeless Longines comes on a handcrafted brown leatherstrap.
